Hi there

this might not be the best place to ask this, but its worth a shot if anyone has ever done this before, do you have any tips?

I need to make a stop motion puppet from
a scultpure, that I think I cant destroy.

My plan is to do this:
1 - Make Rubber latex mould of sculpture
2 - fill mould with wax and make a wax copy
3 - carefully remove (cut off?) latex mould
4 - make plaster of paris mould of the wax copy.
5 - remove wax.

And voila we have a plaster negative mould of the original sculpture that can then be used to make the puppet:

Basically the wax copy can used in the step

This seems awfully time consuming, tricky and messy, and maybe a little bit boring....

Does anyone have any suggestions how this could be easier?
